India already won the series because In first test India won by 5 wickets and In Second Test India won by an innings and 15 runs. Indian squad for third Test-match was announced 15 unchanged members Rohit Sharma Replacing Yuvraj Singh.
Yuvraj scored 23,18 and 25 in three innings against west indies. Rohit Sharma showed his performance well in recently concluded Ranji Trophy scoring 175 against Railways and 100 against Rajastan in Mumbai. So he has been included in the squad.

England won first two tests and are away one victory to claim No 1 Test spot in ICC Test Ranking which is expected to be announced on December. Any one occurance of 2-0 series win or 3-1 series win will bring Test No 1 spot to England. In the other hand India will loose its No 1 Test ranking spot. Hence India has to win atleast one of their remaining test as well as drawing another one. In other way India has to win all the remaining two tests.

New Zealand elected to bat first which won the toss. Taylor and Ryder gave good partnership. Taylor scored 43 and Jesse Ryder scored 83. Finall-y, NewZealand put 222 as the target score to South-Africa . South-Africa lost first wicket in first over itself,Amla was the man who got out for 7. India lost their 5th wc match against South-Africa. South-Africa needed 13 runs in last over. Dhoni had to choose between Ashish Nehra and Harbhajan Singh for the final over and opted for the former.

“I had to make the decision. If you see, Nehra has been our best bowler at the death over the last couple of years. But there are times when your tactics do not work. That is cricket,” he said.

Dhoni said “We lost too many wickets and lost momentum. We could have got 330 or 340 but aimed between 360 and 370. Still, we should have batted out the 50 overs. We had to show more application.”

The Indian captain said, “We still have seven points from five matches and have almost qualified for the quarterfinals. There is a lot of cricket left.”

Dhoni acknowledged that his side's fielding needed to improve. “This was a big ground and they (the South Africans) targeted some of our fielders. And they fielded very well. It made a difference.”

The 10th cricket world cup is in progress. Unexpected Results are coming on its own way. At first, Pakistan beat Sri Lanka. Second One was India tie against England and The Third one is England's defeat against Ireland.The 15th match was Ireland vs England which was played in Bangalore Chinnaswamy stadium. England won the toss and chose to bat first. Andrew Strauss and Kevin Pietersen walked in as openers. Both contributed 91 runs in 13.3 overs for first wicket. Pietersen scored 59 runs and Straus was out on 34. Then came Trott who scored 92 runs . He is the top scorer for England in the match. Finally, England managed to score 327 runs for the loss of 8 wickets. So Ireland batsmen came in to the ground to chase 328 runs as the target. Ireland lost its first wicket of captain Porterfield who got out in very first ball of the innings for golden Duck. England spearhead Anderson got that wicket. At one stage of the Irish innings Ireland was 106 for the loss of 4 wickets in 22.2 overs when Kevin O'Brien entered to play the innings of his life. That time English cricketers would not have thought that they would lose the game. K O'Brien changed the flow of the match by his stunning 100 runs in just 50 balls which included 12 fours and 6 sixes. Cusack gave him good partnership who scored 47 runs in 58 balls. Both contributed 162 runs for 6th Wicket. K O'Brien was out on 113 runs in 63 balls. When he was out, team total was 317 in 48.1 overs. At that stage Ireland just needed 11 runs in 11 balls. But, his successor did well to finish the game in 49.1 overs when they just needed 3 runs in the last over. Ireland win came with a boundary of the first ball of the last over. Yes, Ireland wrote another history in the world cup. In 2007 world cup Ireland beat Pakistan in league match and threw them out of the world cup after group stage.

Some people say there may be match fixing in the tie match of Indian Cricket Team against England. Because there was no appeal in the match two times for Andrew Strauss. When he was on 13 runs nicked Zaheer delivery which safely caught by Skipper Dhoni (Wicket-Keeper). Sreesanth replaces Praveen

Santha Kumaran Sreesanth has been replaced for injured Praveen Kumar in World Cup-2011 squad.

“Praveen Kumar has been ruled out of the ICC CWC 2011 due to an elbow injury. The all-India senior selection committee has picked S. Sreesanth as Praveen Kumar's replacement in the Indian team for the tournament,” BCCI Secretary N. Srinivasan said in a press release.

“The ICC has confirmed that Praveen Kumar can be replaced in the squad by Sreesanth,” he added.

On Monday, when Praveen was put through the rigorous fitness test at the National Cricket Academy in Bangalore, it was clear that the seamer was not at the peak of his fitness.

Hence Sreesanth was included in WC-2011 squad in place of Praveen. The paceman has 75 wickets in 51 ODIs at 32.04. His economy rate is 6.01 .

Is S Sreesanth suitable replacement for injured Praveen Kumar?

Sreesanth is a capable bowler. In test matches, this is true where his spead and out-swing bowling is a threaten to the batsmen. But in ODI the delivery swinging away from the right-hander is lesser threat, Because It can get thick edges and fly between third man and gully.

The paceman has taken 75 wickets in 51 ODIs at 32.04. However , his economy rate of 6.01 is more than what india expects from a specialist bowler.

If picked in the eleven, his role in the Indian team could be much different from that of the man he has replaced. In the India-New Zealand ODI series this season, Sreesanth's four for 47 at Jaipur reflected his ability to bend the ball at the death; his yorkers were on target. In the earlier game too, at Guwahati, Sreesanth (three for 30) picked up two of his wickets at the conclusive stages of the innings.

Sreesanth can strike with the new ball, hunt for wickets in the often game-changing middle overs and provide thrust to the attack in the last stretch.

Praveen Kumar out of world cup-2011 squad

Indian medium-pacer Praveen Kumar has been ruled out of the World Cup starting on February 19 in Dhaka due to an elbow injury.

Praveen had hurt his elbow during a practice session ahead of the ODI series in South Africa and has not completely recovered from it.

The medium-pacer was reportedly flown to London for a check-up last week, where he underwent an examination at the King Edward VII Hospital and was advised rest.

He is currently undergoing rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bangalore.

Despite knowing that Kumar was carrying an injury ever since his tour of South Africa, the selectors picked him in the 15-member squad without a fitness test.

Key players Virender Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir had also missed the ODI series against South Africa after being injured and Sachin Tendulkar was flown back mid-way during the series due to a hamstring injury. However, they are expected to be fully fit by the time the Indian camp starts in Bangalore on February 9.

Ishant Sharma or S. Sreesanth may replace Kumar in the squad.

He is sometimes referred to as the Nawab of Najafgarh after his residential locality in Delhi. Sehwag is a strict life-long vegetarian and owns a vegetarian eatery called Sehwag's Favourites. He also does charity work for UNICEF.

Bhajji has been no stranger to controversy. A ban for allegedly racially vilifying Aussie allrounder Andrew Symonds was overturned on appeal, but he was barred from one whole season of the Indian Premier League for slapping pace bowler S Sreesanth. The government of Punjab made him an honorary deputy police SP, but despite that credential, he got into a scuffle with police outside the team hotel in Guwahati. Bhajji triggered off a protest riot in Amritsar in 2006 after appearing in an alcohol add without his turban. He has been called the "turbanator" for his uncanny ability to terminate the opposition's innings.

Munaf was subjected to bio-mechanical analysis on his bowling action to improve its efficiency. Howvever, he was once smacked for 6 fours in an over by West Indies batsman Ramnaresh Sarwan.

Often termed a "flat-track bully", Yusuf has the ability to make a match pivot on its head. He is useful both for short spurts of quick runs or even to play the longer, stabilising innings. India coach Gary Kirsten is not in the running for a similar job in the South African side but could be involved with Mumbai Indians in the IPL, a report said on Wednesday.

Indian cricket team coach Gary Kirsten plans to step down from his post following the World Cup 2011 which ends in April, and considering he doesn't intend to take up another coaching job in south africa, his calender could be clear for a stint with the IPL.

According to the report, Kirsten's good rapport with Sachin Tendulkar could lead to the former South African opener being appointed in a top position in Mumbai Indians, which is to appoint a director of coaching before the IPL-4.

“Indian cricket had hoped to persuade Kirsten to change his mind about not renewing his contract, but gave up on it this week. Future options for Kirsten could involve the Indian Premier League,” a report in The Times said.

“The close relationship that Kirsten has with Sachin Tendulkar may lead to cooperation between the two at Mumbai Indians, who are expected to appoint a director of coaching before the next IPL season,” it said.

“Kirsten could easily take up such a position while still developing his international academy that is in the planning stage at Claremont Cricket Club in Cape Town,” it added.

The report also said current India bowling coach Eric Simons could not be ruled out as a possible candidate to replace Kirsten.

the second wicket partnership.

England win comprehensively to stay alive in the series. Chasing a stiff target,
Australia were always playing the catch up game after losing 2 quick wickets.
The batsmen, apart from Shane Watson and to an extent Steven Smith, looked
out of sorts against a disciplined English attack. Clarke, White and Hussey got
starts but none of them could convert it into a big one. The English slow
bowlers did the trick for them on a slow and flat wicket. England would be
happy with their performance today - they dominated Australia with a good,
all round performance.

SriKanth speaks about Sreesanth

Indian speedster S Sreesanth may have been left out of the 15-member squad for the upcoming World Cup but that hasn't deterred selection committee chairman K Srikkanth, from describing him as an "excellent bowler."

Calling the selector's job as a "thankless one", Srikkanth said Sreesanth is a genuinely good outswing bowler that just needs to control his temperament and bahaviour in order to succeed outright.

"I have told him (Sreesanth) to be calm and he will be a great bowler," Srikkanth was quoted as saying in 'On Record' show telecast on a TV channel on Sunday. The former India captain said that maturity comes with passage of time and experience that one gains playing international cricket.

"Some people are playful. Maturity will come. Sreesanth is an excellent bowler and he has an excellent outswing," he said.

Describing cricket as a "futuristic game", he said that the game has evolved over the years in Kerala and that Sreesanth will pave the way for many more poster boys from the state.

"Cricket will overtake football and athletics in next two years in Kerala. Every state needs icons. Orignally, the state had PT Usha and now it is Sreesanth. Many more Sreesanths will be emerging from Kerala," he said.
